What is AIYLI?
The purpose is to look at current issues and events impacting American Indian communities (health, economics, education, drug abuse, etc) and Inspire youth to collectively discuss new ideas and ways to help them take charge of their own lives and make positive contributions to their communities. The goal is not to dwell on what is wrong but what can be potentially positive.
If you have any questions or want to RSVP, please contact the conference co-chairs:
Sue Lentz - sue.lentz@colorado.edu
David Atekpatzin Young - davidbyoung@gmail.com
The mission of the AIYLI is to unite, instill pride and to support communication between American Indian students and the community who share similar heritage, culture, history and experiences.
