Below are some commonly asked questions when considering enrollment. If we missed your question feel free to contact us at 720-561-5247 or email the Enrollment Center.

When can I enroll?    If you have just moved into the BVSD area, please contact your neighborhood school to set-up enrollment for your student. We are currently accepting enrollment for incoming kindergarten students for 08-09 as well. If you do not know your neighborhood school, you can find it at the School Finder. If you have further questions, please call 720-561-5247 or e-mail the Enrollment Center.

What do I do if I get stuck on the Enrollment Forms?  Please call the Enrollment Center, 720-561-5247 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday or e-mail the Enrollment Center .

Do I have to do anything before I bring my Kindergartener to school on the first day?  Make sure you have completed the registration process. Your individual school will have more details, including schools supply lists.  Individual school contact information and websites can be found here.

How do I Open Enroll?  Applications for open enrollment takes place December through mid-January for the following school year. Complete regulations for the open enrollment process may be found at the Open Enrollment website.

Which Schools offer Pre-Kindergarten?  The following schools have a preschool located onsite in BVSD. Please note, students attending these preschools do not continue in the same school for kindergarten unless they live in the school’s neighborhood boundaries.

These schools offer pre-school as part of their school’s program focus, these students remain in the school for their elementary education: University Hill, Pioneer, Community Montessori.

How is a PK seat determined?  PK seats are determined through the open enrollment process. The preschool office regulates the enrollment for most PK programs. The open enrollment office regulates the process for  Community Montessori only. More information may be found here.

Which Schools offer Kindergarten?Full day kindergarten is available at University Hill, Pioneer, Sanchez, Columbine
