 Division of Information Technology

The mission of the Division of Information Technology (IT) is to lead the technology initiatives of BVSD while providing a high quality, dynamic technology environment.

 In a way that:

• Provides timely support for instructional and administrative computing;
• Conceals technological complexities from end-users;
• Establishes district standards for technology;
• Maintains, enhances and secures our district infrastructure;
• Improves knowledge and skills through training and support; and
• Develops methods to automate internal systems for better utilization and to eliminate duplication and redundancy.

 So that we support the mission of the district and the Administration and Operations area by providing unparalleled service, comprehensive communication capabilities and efficient use of resources which empowers students and staff to achieve and perform at their maximum potential.
