LAWSON

The Lawson Enterprise System is the integrated suite of software applications that connects the majority of the District’s business and administrative data processes, including Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, Budgeting, Procurement, and Fixed Assets.

The Lawson Dashboard is a web-based portal where users are able to view reports, access Lawson data entry and inquiry screens, and perform duties specific to their position.  Users are granted access to functions and reports in Lawson Dashboard in accordance with the administrative duties specific to their position.

The Lawson Dashboard is accessed via Internet Explorer.  Type the shortcut lawsonreporting (all one word, no http or www required) as the Internet Explorer url or the full address http://lawsonreporting.admin.bvsd.k12.co.us 

• The username and password are the same as those used for district network and email access. Type firstname.lastname and password. Username and password should be lowercase. 
• Users are set up in Lawson by the Information Technology Department based on the user’s position. Contact Megan Serani at x5985 to request new or additional privileges in Lawson Dashboard, or resolve technical issues. In most cases, requests for privileges outside of a standard job profile will require approval by the school or department administrator. 
• Lawson Help documents are updated and posted on the Lawson Dashboard under the Help tab. http://lawsonreporting.admin.bvsd.k12.co.us
• Additionally, training materials for new users including the Lawson Basics help document are also available on the Business Services website located at http://bvsd.org/businessservices/staff/BudgetServices/LawsonBasics08-09.pdf
