Summary of the health benefit improvements for 2011-2012:

Cigna (both Standard and Basic plans) and Kaiser:

 

- 100% coverage for preventive services - reduced from the current $25 office visit co-pay

- 100% coverage for colonoscopies regardless of diagnosis - reduced from current $70 co-pay

 

Cigna (both Standard and Basic Plans):

 

- Co-pay for primary care office visits with providers in the Boulder Valley Care Network (BVCN) reduced to $10 - from current $25.

- We are partnering with providers in the BVCN to improve our prescription benefits, administered by Express Scripts, for members covered on our self-funded Cigna plans.  We are reducing the co-pays for the top 34 generic prescriptions identified by our local providers as critical in managing chronic conditions.
