Welcome to the Board of Education Page!
Like all school districts in Colorado, Boulder Valley School District is governed by an elected Board of Education. The Boulder Valley Board of Education has seven members who each represent one of seven different districts throughout the geographical area of BVSD. Each member serves one four-year term per election up to a maximum of two terms or eight years total service.
Meeting ScheduleThe Boulder Valley Board of Education meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month except in July, when no meetings are scheduled, and in March, November and December, when the second meeting of the month is usually cancelled. These regular meetings begin at 6:00 p.m.
Agendas and Minutes Agendas and minutes for all Boulder Valley Board of Education meetings since Dec. 12, 2006, are available in BoardDocs, an online system that BVSD uses to collect and distribute board meeting materials. Agendas for upcoming meetings are posted by 4 p.m. on the Friday before that meeting.
To see the agenda for a meeting, go to BoardDocs and select the meeting in which you are interested. If it is not one of the featured meetings that appear first, select the “Meetings” navigation tab to find meetings organized by year. For meetings prior to 2014, select the year and then the Dec. 31 file. When you click to view the agenda, all meetings in that year will appear in the left column.
