Like all school districts in Colorado, Boulder Valley School District is governed by an elected board of education. The Boulder Valley Board of Education has seven members who each represent one of seven different districts throughout the geographical area of BVSD. Each member serves one four-year term per election up to a maximum of two terms or eight years total service.

The Boulder Valley Board of Education meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month, starting at 6:30 p.m.
Agendas and Minutes
All Boulder Valley Board of Education meetings since Dec. 12, 2006, are available online. Agendas for upcoming meetings are posted by 4 p.m. on the Friday before that meeting. To review the agenda of a meeting, use the “Meeting Search” function at http://agendapublic.bvsd.org/meetings.aspx.
Public Participation
The public may sign up to speak by calling the Board secretary at 303-447-5114 prior to a scheduled meeting. You may also sign up between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. on the evening of a meeting. Click here for details about public participation.
