Project Status
Renovations in the computer lab were completed over the summer. The new main office, cafeteria and kitchen will be ready to occupy over winter break. Interior finishes are being installed in the classrooms, which will be ready to occupy in January. Upcoming work includes demolition of the existing cafeteria and kitchen which will be remodeled into the new music and art rooms. These will be ready in March.

Scope of Work

Facility Condition Assessment (FCA):

  • Intercom system improvements
  • Ventilation improvements
  • Irrigation system upgrades
  • Interior finishes upgraded (i.e. ceiling tiles, carpet, wall finishes)
  • Interior Signage Program

Program Compatibility Assessment (PCA):

  • Provide Special Education spaces
  • Provide small group instructional spaces
  • Provide additional staff office space
  • Enlarge cafeteria and upgrade kitchen
  • Expand instrumental music
  • Expand art room

Multi-Use Outdoor Facilities (MUOF):

  • Upgrade playground surfacing, equipment, and fencing
  • Provide adequate curbing and drainage
  • Replace aged and/or unsafe playground equipment
  • Make playgrounds ADA accessible

Information Technology (IT):

  • Upgrade WAN to provide capacity to support applications with high bandwidth demands
  • Upgrade LANs to provide reliable and responsive access to data, research, and information
  • Implement VoIP to enhance communications capabilities and reduce costs
