Some of the 3rd phase construction work including exterior site improvements were completed this summer.  The final phase of construction which includes remodeling the Community Schools area will begin in January 2012. It is scheduled to be complete by late spring 2012.

Portions of the scope of work for this project were completed in the summer of 2007. IT improvements are complete.

In April 2010, the Board of Education approved a recommendation by the Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee to allocate $850,000 in surplus funds to the Community Montessori project to remodel the space vacated when the Community Schools program is relocated out of the building. The remodel will provide the school with larger art and music classrooms, dedicated Literacy, English as a Second Language and Special Education spaces, break out space and storage.
