Welcome to the BVSD World Languages Website!

Instruction in Boulder Valley is offered in American Sign Language (ASL), Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Latin, and Spanish in select secondary schools. The Department of World Languages is an integral part of the Division of Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction (CAI).  

World languages instruction in Boulder Valley School District is driven by the World Languages Content Standards, written by a team of District world languages teachers and approved by the school board.

Dates for Levels I&II Assessments (Spring 2012)

  • May 3 - Materials are sent to schools by inter-school mail.
  • May 7 - Materials should have arrived at each school.
  • May 10 through May 27 - Assessment Window
  • May 28 - Deadline for materials to arrive back in Dr. Miller-Brown's office.
  • Please don't forget to input your students' scores into Infinite Campus prior to returning the materials.

  • Go to the tool bar at the top of the page
  • Click on Schools
  • Click on Middle Schools or High Schools
  • Click on your school's Name
  • On the left side, find and click on District Assessments
