District Accountability Committee (DAC) 
 

The District Accountability Committee (DAC) fulfills the function of a school district accountability committee. The committee advises the Board of Education on the adequacy and efficiency of educational programs offered by the district. Areas of study include, but are not limited to, accountability guidelines, school goals, safe schools plans, and annual budget review.

The DAC is a legally constituted committee composed of members nominated by each of the School Improvement Teams (SITs), as well as members at large. Applications for membership are submitted to the Board of Education for approval.
