Enrollment in your neighborhood school is started when you contact your neighborhood school for an appointment. Kindergarteners and new students may register at any time throughout the year. You may also choose to enroll your child at a school other than your neighborhood school; in order to complete this please visit the Open Enrollment web page here.
In order to complete the enrollment process you must provide the following documentation at your neighborhood school after completion of the online enrollment forms.
- Proof of Birth Date (via Birth Certificate or Passport): To be admitted to kindergarten in BVSD, a child must reach his or her fifth birthday on or before September 30th.
- Records of updated immunizations
- Proof of residency, which may include utility bills, lease agreements, or a house contract
