Facility Use
Boulder Valley School District is committed to making school facilities available to the public for outside use. The Community School Program administers permits for use of the schools during non-school hours, including weekends and evenings. The community may contact the Facility Use office to arrange for space in all BVSD schools. Usage fees vary according to the type of space, the group's age category, and the number of people in the group. Spaces available include gyms, auditoriums, classrooms, multi-purpose rooms and playing fields.

 Important Insurance Note


All groups must submit proof of liability insurance at the same time the Facility Use request form is submitted. Boulder Valley School District must be listed as Additionally Insured on the certificate. If you are part of an organized group, the limits of liability are $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate. If you are an individual, the limits of liability are $500,000 per occurrence, $1,000,000 aggregate. ​


 How to Submit a Facility Use Request


Please use the links to your left to view and download Facility Use terms, current rental rates and forms. Fill out the relevant form and submit with your proof of insurance to the Facility Use Program via one of the four options below. Depending on the time of year and the size of your event, a minimum of 3-4 weeks processing time may be required.

  • June 1st : Fall Field Requests
  • August 1st: Fall/Winter Gym Requests
  • December 1st: Spring Field Requests
  • May 1st: Summer Building Rental Requests
