Dear Members of the Eldorado K-8 Community:

We are pleased to announce the Superintendent's recommendation of Barbara Watson as the interim principal for Eldorado K-8 effective August 1, 2008. Ms. Watson, who is currently serving as the assistant principal at Eldorado, will serve as the interim from the start of the 2008-09 school year in August through mid-October. The district has invited Mr. Craig Christopher, retired BVSD principal, to serve as interim assistant principal during the transition period.

We join the Eldorado K-8 staff and community in congratulating Ms. Watson on her appointment as interim principal and in welcoming Mr. Christopher to the transition team.

As many of you may know, Ms. Hamasaki, incoming principal, was at Eldorado K-8 this week, from April 21-24, meeting with the parents, staff and students. She is eager to begin work with the interim transition team of administrators and teachers. Ms. Hamasaki will assume her duties at Eldorado K-8 on October 15, 2008.
