Welcome to your main source for information about home schooling your student in the Boulder Valley School District. We currently have about 200 students in our home school program. All of the forms and information you need to get started are available below.
Please note the following three points of particular importance:
The Home School Intent Letter must be filed with the BVSD
Superintendent at least 14 days prior to the beginning of home
schooling.
Parents must fill out this form each year they are planning to provide home based education.
Nationally normed testing is required for all students in grades
3, 5, 7, 9, and 11. For details, please visit the website of
Colorado Department of Education.
