Q. How can I tell which resources are still available?
A. Visit the
DIMC Resource Tracker for a list of videos, DVDs, kits, trunks, models, and other materials are still available for sharing.
Q. What do I do if the resource I need is no longer available?
A. Unfortunately, you will need to either find a substitute resource or activity, teach that lesson in a different way than in the past, or wait until the Digital Content Initiative is rolled out in your school and review those resources when they arrive.
Q. How do I contact other schools to access a desired resource?
A. For videos and DVDs, have your teacher-librarian contact the
library media center that now houses the item. For FOSS materials, contact one of the FOSS Center assistants by calling 720-561-5106. For materials housed by any other department, contact that department directly. Click

Q. How long will specific DIMC resources that have been retained be available ?
A. 1 year only. These will be available for lending/borrowing for the 2009-2010 academic year only. Full transition to MediaCast will occur after that point.
Q. How do I get ahold of trunks, kits, and models?
A. First, make sure that the material you want is still available by visiting the DIMC Resource Tracker. For trunks, kits, and models now managed by the FOSS Center, call 720-561-5106 to speak with a FOSS assistant. Q. Where do I send broken AV equipment for repair?
A. Contact the vendor you purchased the item from or call Randy at Denver Audio Visual Repair (303-237-5800) to facilitate repairs.
Q. Is BVSD still a part of the CLiC library courier service?
A. Yes, but our new drop point is the Boulder HS library, under the supervision of Becky Vancura.
