BVSD is going digital….

Our district will have access to thousands of educational media* titles to enhance instruction during the 09-10 school year! These video and audio resources will be conveniently accessible upon demand from servers from our IT department to computers inside and outside the district. We are ecstatic about the potential of this new era of digital media and plan to support teachers to effectively integrate the media within our new curriculum.

Take a moment to note: We are the absolute first school district to provide digital media in this fashion. Our idea is to subscribe to content providers, like other districts do, but we are bringing all of the content in-house. Since we house and manage the content ourselves, this solution drastically lowered the price for the content enabling us to save money and purchase more digital media. We currently have subscriptions to CCC! and Learn 360, so all of their digital media will be found in one place, our BVSD MediaCAST.
