These are Angevine Middle School's school improvement goals for the past three years. The results are shown with a rating for attainment of this school’s Equity, Achievement and Climate goals. 

For 2006-2007, a plus (+) indicates that the school met or exceeded its goal and a minus (-) indicates that the goal is still in progress.

Decrease the achievement gap in reading by 10 WIP for all Latino students

The gap decreased by 12 WIP

Over the next two years, increase reading and writing scores for all Latino students by an additional 10 WIP and increase reading scores for special education students by 10 WIP

Reading scores increased by 4 WIP for Latinos and decreased by 6WIP for special education students

Writing scores remained flat for Latinos (51 WIP) and special education students (20WIP)

- Over the next two years, increase median growth percentile by 10% for Special Education, ELL, Latino/Hispanic, and TAG students in reading, writing and math.  We are in year 1 of this multi-year goal with the initial baseline year of 2008.
 Achievement Increase reading weighted index scores by 10WIP for all students.

Reading scores increased by 4 WIP

 - Over the next two years, increase overall reading and writing scores by 10 WIP

Reading scores increased by 7 WIP and writing scores increased by 4 WIP

- Increase the median growth percentile in writing, reading and math by 10% each over the next two years.  We are in year 1 of this multi-year goal with the initial baseline year 2008.

Increase percent responses to questions 2 and 7 on the BVSD student climate survey

Responses increased by 1% on question 2 and by 4% on question 7
