BOULDER, CO – Jamestown Elementary School will open on its regular schedule Thursday, September 9. BVSD buses will run as scheduled except in evacuated areas.

Gold Hill Elementary School will remain closed through Friday, September 10. A plan for Gold Hill students to temporarily begin classes at Foothill Elementary School is being finalized and will be announced tomorrow (9/9). Those classes are planned to begin Monday, September 13.

All indications are that Gold Hill Elementary School’s building is safe. However, BVSD staff have not yet had a chance to examine the building firsthand to determine its clean up and operational needs and determine how long it will take to have the building ready for students and teachers.
