BOULDER – Candidate petitions have been received and verified for six candidates for three Boulder Valley Board of Education director seats up for election this year. The deadline for turning in completed candidate petitions was Friday, August 28 at 4:00 p.m.

The remaining four director district seats on the seven-member school board will be up for election in 2011. Terms are for four years and there is a limit of two terms a director may serve. School board directors must be residents of their respective BVSD director district. However, all registered voters in BVSD are able to vote in any school board director election.
