Available online teaching positions:
8th grade core Language Arts Social Studies Science Fine Arts/Tech
Mathematics Health PE Business Spanish
Hold a current Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsements.
Complete and submit the online application for employment with BVSD.
Experience teaching online or having completed the
"Teaching in the Digital Age (TIDA)" course
Evidence of data-driven instruction to close achievement gaps.
Use of Schoology or other Learning Management System.
Use of a variety of technology to facilitate learning - creating and viewing video, audio, multiple presentation apps, RSS feeds, QR codes, etc.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Demonstrated experience in inclusion in the general education classroom for all students, including those on an IEP and/or learning English.
Positively impact student achievement, using appropriate online instructional strategies and strong knowledge of the content.
Effectively manage the virtual and physical learning environment.
Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet students' learning needs.
Provide progress updates to students and parents on a frequent and reoccurring bases.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and community.
Follow State legal requirements and District policies and procedures.
Competence with Infinite Campus - entering grades, posting remarks, etc.
