New Safe2Tell mobile app helps keep students safe

Student safety is a high priority in BVSD. I am writing to express my support of a new, free mobile app available from Safe2Tell and to encourage you to download it onto your smartphones.

Launched in 2004, the statewide Safe2Tell program was established as a phone tip line that students could call anytime to report concerns about threats that potentially endangered them or someone they knew. A key element of the program’s success has been that the caller remains anonymous. The new Safe2Tell app continues that commitment to anonymity while providing reporters with a more convenient and modern alternative to the phone line.
