English as a Second Language (ESL)
The ESL Program at Angevine Middle School consists of alternative language arts classes for students who are acquiring English as an additional language. Students receive specialized instruction to develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in English. The emphasis is on providing relevant activities to help students learn the social and academic language needed to participate and achieve in all of their classes. Classes are offered at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.
