Mathematics
Angevine Middle School offers 3 levels of math per grade. The first level consists of the current grade level curriculum with extra support to maximize student success. The second level also focuses on the current grade level curriculum, while the third level focuses on the next grade level curriculum. Also offered at Angevine, is an advanced Algebra course and an advanced Geometry course. Our math department is in the process of designing valid placement assessments designed to accurately place students where they will be adequately challenged. Angevine utilizes the Connected Math Program while also supplementing with other resources. These may include more “traditional” texts, computer programs/activities, and graphing calculators.
