Going to a new school in sixth grade can be a challenging transition. We want to make that move easy and fun for students by offering a Shadow Day. Shadow Day is a chance for prospective fifth-graders to see what life in middle school is like.
Fifth-grade students will shadow a Casey sixth-grader from 9:00 am to 1:00 p.m. on the day designated for their school. Fifth-graders will also participate in orientation sessions with a student panel, teachers and the principal. Students may pack a lunch or buy one in the cafeteria at the price they usually pay.
