Kindergartners created animal masks and wore them while playing african drums.  They traced, cut, and painted the masks. K masks400 x 300
The kindergartners learned about how the Andikra people of Africa paint on cloth.  They drew their own animals, traced them on the cloth then used watered down acrylic paint to paint everything but the animal. K Andikra400 x 300

The first graders learned how to draw themselves from looking in a mirror and learning where the eyes, ears, nose and mouth are actually located on the face.  They then chose a background and an imaginary pet to create a self-portrait like Frida. frida self-portrait 1400 x 513

The third graders learned about Foreground, Middle-ground, and Background through reading a paragraph from the book, "A series of Unfortunate Events".  They used the descriptive words from this paragraph to create a drawing showing the three grounds. calagari 3400 x 258
