Eisenhower's Clubs

Eisenhower is lucky to offer so many different clubs to meet all of our students' diverse needs.  From athletic to academic clubs your child will find what they need before and after school!  All of these clubs are teacher led and run at no cost to our students.

 Extracurricular Clubs at Eisenhower

Basketball Club: A time to learn how to play as a team both 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 games during the winter time after school.  Open to all 5th graders.  Mr. Orobona

Chess Club: Students play chess with friends as the chess coaches help them learn strategy and technique. Students must pre-register for this program. Contact Anne Burkholder for more information.

Choir: A before-school enrichment activity for students in grades 3-5 from Sept - Dec. An evening performance is given for parents and the community, in addition to a field trip performance. Contact Ms. Chambers for more information.

Flag Football Club: Good sportsmanship is the name of this fun teacher led game of flag football.  It's a great way to get some wonderful exercise outside after school.  Four teams play two games for 20 minutes each.  Grades 4 and 5 with Mr. Orobona and Ms. Perkins

Intramurals: 8:00 A.M. Monday mornings; students can particpate in different sports focusing on team building, skills, and game play, great fun for students in 3rd through 5th grade.  Mr. Neitenbach and Mr. Orobona

Lunch Clubs:  Join Ms. Piirto nearly every Friday, during lunch time, for a fabulous themed lunch club, from mysteries to melodram it's a riot!

Math Olympiads: Students compete earning medals while solving and learning about complex math problems.  Anne Burkholder

Newspaper Club: Extra! Extra!  Eisenhower has a wonderful newspaper!  The (nearly) student run newspaper club meets on Thursdays and puts out several newspapers throughout the year.  Ms. Bailey

Yo-Yo Club: This after school club meets during the extensive P.E. unit on yo-yoing.  The students try to master different yo-yo tricks to move to higher levels of difficulty.  Mr. Neitenbach
