Dear Parents,

I am pleased to announce the availability of a trusted online resource -- the “TeenHealthandWellness” site -- to Boulder Valley families. Through a partnership with Boulder Public Library and Rosen Publishing, this fee-based site is now available at no charge to BVSD teens, their families and our staff. You can access the site by going to www.BoulderTeens.org and clicking on the “TeenHealthandWellness” banner.


“TeenHealthandWellness” has up-to-date information by experts on teen health and wellness issues, written specifically with teen needs in mind. I think it also complements the recently-published Thrive handbook and Thrive update newsletter that we have been providing to parents in BVSD. In “TeenHealthandWellness,” you and your teens will find more in-depth research, news articles, and personal stories from teens who have dealt with these health issues first-hand.
