The state-mandated SIT oversees the development of school goals as required by the State of Colorado and fulfilled by the annual School Improvement Plan (SIP).Goals are created and assessed in the following areas that are vital to a successful learning environment:

SIT Announcements:
Lafayette's School Improvement Team is hosting two meetings for parents or community members interested in learning more about what we do and how to get involved. These are exploratory meetings, with time for presentation and discussion. You only need to attend one of these meetings to get the idea, and there will be a follow-up training in May for people who decide to commit to the work of SIT for the 09-10 school year. (All SIT members for the 09-10 school year must be confirmed by the end of this school year, but SIT meetings are always open for observation by non-member parents, staff, and community members.)
The first meeting will take place Monday, April 13, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM
The second meeting will take place Thursday, May 7, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM
