TAG Education Overview
Utilizing Boulder Valley School District’s standards-based curriculum gifted students are provided challenging academic experiences through advanced content and accelerated instruction based on individual abilities and needs. State of the art identification measures are used to recognize the unique abilities of students from our diverse population. Based upon assessed areas of strength, specialized, fast-paced instruction is provided to students advanced in literacy and mathematics. Many pull-out and high ability groups are offered to students in Kindergarten through 5th grades taught by highly qualified teachers, a TAG Educational Advisor, and a full-time TAG Coordinator. Enrichment and competitive opportunities are offered to all students based on interests and needs. As a result of this TAG focus, our school offers a qualitatively different educational experience for every child!
