Educational Background: MA Education – Stanford University 1997 BA Psychology & Elementary Education - UMASS Amherst 1995
Teaching Experience: I have taught 3 years of Kindergarten in San Francisco, 2 years of Literacy Intervention in Oakland, California, and have spent 5 years as a national trainer of teachers for the Developmental Studies Center, an educational non-profit. This is my fourth year in 1st grade at Lafayette Elementary.
Hobbies & personal interests: Motherhood!?! Running and reading.
What do you enjoy most about teaching? Acting like a goofball - singing, dancing, laughing, etc. |

Educational Background: I graduated from Fresno State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Deaf Education. Then I got my teaching credential. I taught 6th grade for 6 months and kindergarten for 4 years.
Teaching Experience: I taught kindergarten in California for 4 years. This will be my 3rd year in 1st grade at Lafayette.
Hobbies & personal interests: Running, biking, swimming, hiking, camping and reading.
What do you enjoy most about teaching? I love to make my kids laugh and smile. It is great to see how they grow throughout the year. |

What do you enjoy most about teaching? I love teaching 1st grade because it is when kids loose their teeth and when they learn to read. There's nothing cuter than a toothless grin from a child and he/she saying, "I got it!" |

Teaching Experience: I'm beginning my 19th year at BVSD. 1 year at Sanchez and 17 years at Coal Creek. This is my first year at Lafayette.
Hobbies & personal interest: Hiking, golfing, reading for fun and doing things with my family.
What do you enjoy most about teaching? Every day is a new adventure.

What do you enjoy most about teaching? The kids! Watching reading "click" for kids.
