Monarch High School Yearbook
Mosaic
Would you like a copy of the yearbook? Of course you do! The yearbook class produces a beautiful, full color book which has won state and national awards. All profits support the journalism program at MHS.
Purchase a Yearbook
Yearbooks can be purchased at registration, which is the best time to place your order. There are several package deals that include name plates, extra autograph supplements, and the year-in-review magazine. Yearbooks alone start at $55.00. With additional add-ons, the price increases. There are forms available which have all the details. See the links below to download a copy.
Missed purchasing one at registration?
If you didn't purchase a yearbook at registration, you can still get one by placing your order with the school’s treasurer, Ms. Nemanic. All orders must be received by the Friday before Thanksgiving break in November. After this date, no yearbooks will be pre-sold. There are only a dozen or so yearbooks available for purchase at the end of the school year, so it is important to pre-order your book if you want one. Don't wait until the last minute!
Yearbook distribution begins in May, usually a week before seniors have their final exams. We distribute yearbooks to seniors first, and then afterwards, all students are able to come to rooms L205A and B to pick up their books. Dates and times will be posted.
Please note! THERE WILL BE NO YEARBOOKS FOR SALE DURING DISTRIBUTION!
If there are any books left after those who have pre-ordered have picked up their books, they will be available for purchase the week of final second semester exams.
You can also purchase back-issues of the yearbook from Ms. Nemanic. See her in the treasurer’s office for price and availability.
Would you like to be a member of the yearbook staff?
Ms. Grace is always looking for strong writers, photographers, and any student with a consistent work ethic. Staff members have a lot of responsibilities, so it is important that they are committed to meeting deadlines and being a positive representative of the class, of Monarch and of the Lousiville community. If you are interested in applying download an application and two recommendation forms. Give the recommendation forms to two teachers - one must be either an L.A. teacher or a photo teacher.
Completed application and recommendations are due the first Friday in March!
Professional Photographers! Interested in being on our Preferred Photographer's List?
The yearbook staff puts together a list of local photographers who are willing to meet certain criteria. This list is distributed to this year's juniors (next year's seniors) along with a packet of photographer's brochures and senior photo submission information. If you're interested, please download the information from the files below.
Contact Ms. Grace: elaine.grace@bvsd.org if you have any questions. She is the current Yearbook Adviser.
