Kindergarten and K-Care
Bear Creek's kindergarten lasts for half a day (morning or afternoon), Monday through Friday. Bear Creek also offers a fee-based, optional extended day experience for kindergarteners (K-CARE). Students who enroll in both kindergarten and K-CARE are at Bear Creek during the entire school day.
K-CARE is an optional Boulder Valley School District fee-based program offering full time (five half days per week) and limited part time care opposite the kindergarten portion of the school day. K-CARE compliments school programs and includes a balance of activities as well as structured and unstructured projects. Children experience literature, dramatic play, the visual arts, music, large and small motor games and the support to practice social skills.
