The Emerald Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), Emerald Staff and School Improvement Team (SIT) continually work to improve educational programs at Emerald by encouraging teamwork between the school, parents, and community. The PTO/SIT committees are very active in supporting the school through fund raising activities. They provide books, computers, software, field trips, classroom supplies etc. They also help with organizing volunteers for the classrooms and organizing events i.e. sock hops and carnivals. PTO/SIT sell grocery certificates year round. Check with the office if you would like to buy grocery certificates.
