The Emerald Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), Emerald Staff and School Improvement Team (SIT) continually work to improve educational programs at Emerald by encouraging teamwork between the school, parents, and community. The PTO is very active in supporting the school through fund raising activities. They provide books, computers, software, field trips, classroom supplies etc. They also help with organizing volunteers for the classrooms and organizing events i.e. sock hops and carnivals. PTO sells grocery certificates year round. Check with the office if you would like to buy grocery certificates.
The first meeting will be held on Sept. 11th, but after that
the P.T.O. Meetings will be held the 1st Monday of each month in the Emerald Library at 6:30 P.M.
