To all the members of the Platt Middle School community, welcome to the 2008-2009 school year! I am thrilled and honored to have been selected to serve at Platt as your new Assistant Principal. I am joining Boulder Valley Schools after serving in Douglas County, CO and in Oklahoma as both a science teacher and administrator and I am looking forward to becoming part of the Boulder Valley community. Platt has again been awarded the prestigious John Irwin School of Excellence accolade and we anticipate a school year filled with rich learning experiences for your student. As an educator, I feel it is incumbent upon me to ensure that all of our students receive the best education possible.
