2007/08 Meeting Dates

We are reformatting the Array of Services task force to align with the new restructuring plan, therefore the remaining meetings scheduled for rest of this school year have been cancelled. Be watching for information to come from the office of the new Executive Director of Student Success.

2007 End of Year Report

The Goals:

A task force has been established through the department of Special Education to look at the current special education continuum of services.

The goals for the task force are:

To have a clear vision of the direction for BVSD educational system and the special education role in that vision
To help to create and sustain a network of high acheiving schools where patterns of acheivement are not predicted by race, ethnicity, poverty, disability, gender, language or sexual orientation
To create a full array of services in "zones" across the district, some of which are special education
