Service Delivery Model
The I.R. Team model is a collaborative, needs based process designed to support school based teams and families requesting assistance concerning individual student needs. The I.R. Team consults, provides staff development, and disseminates information on effective practices to increase the capacity of school based teams.

Our Vision: is to promote the sucess of all students through assisting in the delivery of inclusive quality educational services.

Our Mission: is to provide an array of research-based strategies and empower school-based teams, families and students through collaboration and professional development.

The I.R. Team is interdisciplinary and can include Special Education Teachers, School Psychologists, School Social Workers, Speech-Language Pathologist and others.

The team members for the 2007/08 school year are:

I.R. Team Educational Consultants provide technical assistance through coaching and modeling with the following:

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Specialists provide screenings of school aged students with characteristics of ASD who do not have a medical diagnosis of ASD. If needed, an indepth assessment will be administered to determine eligibility for an educational identification.

Referral Process
Requests for I.R. Team services are made by school based teams using the I.R. Team referral form. I.R. Team services are available for students on the continuum from general education to special education. Completed referrals can be sent or faxed (303 499-0628) to Platt Middle School. An I.R. Team member will arrange to meet with school personnel concerning the referral
