Bully Proofing Your School

This curriculum offers a complete plan for the implementation of a school-wide safety program for elementary and middle schools. The information and materials are based on four main concepts:

*the program is systematic and comprehensive,
*the main focus is on climate change,
*the program teaches skills and strategies to avoid victimization, and
*the emphasis is on developing the caring majority.

LifeSkills

LifeSkills is a substance abuse prevention program designed for both elementary and middle school students. Rather than simply teaching information about drugs, LifeSkills combats the primary underlying causes of substance use identified in research literature. Other ways in which LifeSkills differs from existing substance abuse prevention programs include:

*its effectiveness,
*its comprehensiveness,
*the use of interactive teaching methods, and
*appropriateness for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Project ALERT

The Project ALERT curriculum focuses on preventing teenage non-users from experimenting with drugs, alcohol, or tobacco and preventing teenage experimenters from becoming regular users.
