Description: With increased expectations for GT instructors who are highly qualified, how can we move beyond competency? By creating a cohort of Gifted Education Specialists, we gained professional and personal development along with GT endorsements. We sought culturally and linguistically diverse cohort members and schools in which to pilot our program. Hear perspectives from a panel including teachers from public, private, and charter schools, district administrators and university instructors.
