 Breaking News: Colorado Safe Routes to School has awarded grants to BLAST (Bicycle Lessons and Safety Training) for 20 BVSD schools and Crossing Crew, a collaboration between the City of Boulder and BVSD to promote safety at intersections and school crossings.  Both grants will be implemented beginning in Spring 2012 and run through Fall 2013.

 

 

 

Walk, Bike, Carpool or Ride the Bus to School

     

At TO SCHOOL we encourage and support physical activity, environmental stewardship and student safety through school transportation by walking, biking, carpooling or busing (RTD or school bus).

Notable increases in gas, tires and depreciation drive up average costs for sedans to $8,776 yearly, 58.5 cents per mile; SUV costs up to $11,239 yearly, 74.9 cents per mile.
