Volunteer Driver

Application Instructions

Level 3

This approval is for volunteers who participate in field trips and wish to transport students.


Volunteer Drivers need to:

1. Be approved as a Volunteer Level 2 (see instructions on how to get a background check here)

2. Fill out the Annual Volunteer Driver Application click here

3. Bring the documents listed below to the school where you will be driving, your application will be reviewed directly at your school.

Driver checklist:

  1. Bring a copy of Driver's License

  2. Bring a copy of Proof of Insurance stating liability coverage:

  • $100,000/$300,000 liability 
  • $50,000 property damage and 
  • Uninsured Motorist $25,000/$50,000

Your application will be reviewed at the school where you will be driving.
