Board of Education
Like all school districts in Colorado, Boulder Valley School District is governed by an elected Board of Education. The Boulder Valley Board of Education has seven members who each represent one of seven different districts throughout the geographical area of BVSD. Each member serves one four-year term per election up to a maximum of two terms or eight years total service.
For all future regular meetings (until futher notice), the Board of Education will be addressing a limited number of critical issues in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are planning to provide a limited amount of “live” public participation at the 6:00pm regular meetings.
The plan is to utilize Zoom and the waiting room functionality to allow for a maximum of 15 speakers. Additional speakers may address the Board at the conclusion of the business agenda. All comments will become part of the permanent record.
Your request to speak at the meeting must be made to the Board Secretary prior to 12 p.m. on the day of the meeting by calling 720-561-5114, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. As with normal public comment, the first and last names will be included with an individual's Public Comment.
