Proposition CC
During the November election, Colorado voters rejected a statewide education-related measure: Colorado Proposition CC - Retain Revenue for Transportation and Education TABOR Measure (2019).
About our BOE
The Board of Education is made up of seven elected volunteers, representing seven geographic areas of our community. This November, four seats are up for election.
Acting together, the Board of Education does the following:
- Acts as a bridge between the community and the school district
- Hires and supervises the superintendent
- Provides the district with high-level guidance/direction
- Creates and revises BVSD’s policies
In Boulder Valley, candidates MUST live in the director district in which they are running; however, they are voted upon by the entire BVSD community.
