Board of Education Director District elections will be held on November 4, 2025

The Board of Education is made up of seven elected volunteers, representing seven geographic areas of our community. This November, three seats, one of which is term limited, are up for election. Those three Director Districts are District B, District E, and District F. Candidates MUST live in the director district in which they are running; however, they are voted upon by the entire BVSD community.

Acting together, the Board of Education does the following:

• Acts as a bridge between the community and the school district
• Hires and supervises the superintendent
• Provides the district with high-level guidance/direction
• Creates and revises BVSD’s policies
