November 2021 Election
This November, three seats, one of which is term limited, are up for election. Those three Director Districts are District B, District E, and District F.
Candidates MUST live in the director district in which they are running; however, they are voted upon by the entire BVSD community. Use the Board of Education Director District Locator Map to determine which district you live in.
About the Board
The Boulder Valley School District Board of Education is made up of seven elected volunteers, representing seven geographic areas of our community.
Acting together, the Board of Education does the following:
- Hires and supervises the superintendent
- Provides the district with high-level guidance/direction
- Establishes BVSD’s policies
- Approves the budget
- Represents the entire BVSD community

Elecciones de noviembre, 2021
Este noviembre tendremos elecciones para tres posiciones abiertas, una de ellas con una duración de cargo limitada. Los tres distritos administrativos son Distrito B, Distrito E y Distrito F.
Los candidatos DEBEN vivir en el distrito bajo la dirección del cargo para el que se están postulando, sin embargo la comunidad entera del BVSD podrá votar para esa posición. Utilice el mapa para localizar el distrito bajo la dirección de cada cargo del Consejo de Educación para saber en cuál vive.
El Consejo de Educación
El Consejo de Educación del Distrito Escolar del Valle de Boulder está compuesto de siete voluntarios elegidos que representan siete áreas geográficas de nuestra comunidad.
En conjunto, el Consejo de Educación hace lo siguiente:
- Contratar y supervisar al superintendente
- Proporcionar al distrito dirección y orientación desde un nivel alto
- Establecer las políticas del BVSD
- Aprobar el presupuesto
- Representar la comunidad entera del BVSD
