I am incredibly proud to be the superintendent of the Boulder Valley School District. Every day I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to lead Colorado’s best educators at 56 outstanding schools.

First and foremost, I want to thank you for choosing BVSD.

Whether it was our outstanding reputation for educational excellence, our steadfast commitment to welcoming and supporting every student or the wonderful schools that act as community centers – as you know – BVSD has so much to offer.

Our goal is to get the word out to those in our community who may not know about our amazing school district, and we need your help with this effort.

That is why, three weeks from now, we are hosting a very special event called the BVSD is the Place to Be Showcase. 

We will be bringing all of our schools together under one roof in an exhibition-style event and would love for you to share this information with neighbors and others that you know that may be interested in our school district. We also hope you’ll join us to learn about our many special district programs, sample our amazing BVSD food, see our all-new electric school bus and more.

The Event and Parking Are FREE. No registration is required.

During the event we will be providing students and parents with an easy way to explore our schools, services and programs and to get their questions answered.

The Showcase is the Place to Be whether you are… 

• New to BVSD
• Starting preschool or kindergarten
• Looking for before and after school care
• Transitioning to middle or high school
• Wanting a head start on college and career planning
• Exploring new options to meet your child’s needs and interests

Exhibición El BVSD es el lugar para ti

Me siento tan orgulloso de ser el superintendente del Distrito Escolar del Valle de Boulder. Todos los días me siento afortunado de tener la oportunidad de liderar a los mejores educadores de Colorado en nuestras 56 escuelas destacadas.

Primero que nada, quiero darles las gracias por elegir el BVSD.

Ya sea nuestra destacada reputación de excelencia educativa, nuestro firme compromiso de dar la bienvenida y apoyar a cada estudiante o las maravillosas escuelas que actúan como centros comunitarios, como saben, el BVSD tiene mucho que ofrecer.

Nuestro objetivo es hacer correr la voz a aquellos en nuestra comunidad que tal vez no conozcan nuestro increíble distrito escolar, y necesitamos su ayuda con este esfuerzo.

Por eso, dentro de tres semanas, estamos organizando una exhibición muy especial llamada El BVSD es el lugar para ti. 

Reuniremos a todas nuestras escuelas bajo un mismo techo en un evento estilo exhibición y nos encantaría que compartieran esta información con vecinos y otras personas que saben que pueden estar interesadas en nuestro distrito escolar. También esperamos que se unan a nosotros para conocer los numerosos programas especiales del distrito, probar la deliciosa comida del BVSD, ver nuestro nuevo autobús escolar eléctrico y más.

Este evento es gratis y habrá estacionamiento disponible sin costo. No es necesario inscribirse de antemano.

Durante el evento brindaremos a los estudiantes y padres una manera fácil de explorar nuestras escuelas, servicios y programas y de obtener respuestas a sus preguntas.

La exhibición es el lugar para ti, ya sea si... 

• Tu hijo es nuevo en el BVSD
• Está comenzando kínder o preescolar
• Buscas guardería antes o después de clases
• Está en transición a la escuela secundaria o preparatoria
• Quieres que comience temprano su carrera universitaria o profesional
• Estás explorando nuevas opciones para satisfacer sus necesidades e intereses
