The Career and College Connections team is hosting ASCENT information sessions for 12th grade students, families and staff. ASCENT is a program that provides tuition for the first year of college for students who have earned 9 college credits prior to graduating from high school.

Participating colleges and Universities that partner with BVSD are Front Range Community College, Metropolitan State University Denver, University of Northern Colorado, Aims Community College, Emily Griffith Technical College, Western Colorado University and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

The ASCENT information sessions will highlight updates to the ASCENT application process including information on completing the FAFSA/CASFA. With a cap on the number of students participating in ASCENT, we, as a team, are committed to helping students and families figure out the best options for paying for college.
