Download the New BVSD App: All school updates in one place

Dear BVSD community,

We are thrilled to announce that BVSD has a new messaging system! BVSD is using Apptegy, an app-based messaging tool that all families can download to communicate with schools, their teachers, and the district.

All schools, all in one place for BVSD families. The app features a live feed of news and updates, the ability to receive push notifications, and two-way communication between teachers, coaches and parents.

How to log in:

• Guardians cannot log in to the “rooms” and “messages” features of the app until they receive an SMS/text notification or email confirming they have “rooms” access (coming this week). If you don’t receive a notification, visit our app help webpage to ensure your contact information is in your Infinite Campus account.
• Once you receive that notification, you can log in and begin using those features. You’ll sign in with the email or phone number associated with your guardian Infinite Campus account to receive school updates, messages and be assigned to classrooms (called “rooms” in the app) where teacher and coach communication will take place.
• Some class lists are still being finalized, you may not see room assignments for your students yet or they may change. Follow updates from your school on when those are finalized.

Not getting SMS/text messages? Text the word “start” to 98900 and you will be enrolled in the SMS feature. This number can be saved to your phone as it will be used for emergencies and other school updates.

High school student-athletes will also use the app to communicate with coaches and club leaders. Students can access Apptegy via ClassLink on a computer or on their mobile device.
