It is hard to believe that the first semester is coming to a close. It has been an excellent school year so far.
As always, I’ve enjoyed being out in schools, seeing the outstanding work that is happening in the classrooms.
As everyone prepares to go off on Winter Break, I want to wish everyone a happy holiday season. Have fun and be safe.
It is also very important that we recognize that this is a somber time for some in our district, as we commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Marshall Fire. So many of our families were impacted by the tragedy and our hearts continue to be with all of you. While we know rebuilding has begun, we know that the healing continues for the impacted communities. We continue to stand with you.
The holiday season is a time to come together. Let us enjoy each other’s company this holiday season.

Es difícil creer que el primer semestre está por terminar. Ha sido un año excelente hasta ahora.
Como siempre, he disfrutado visitando las escuelas y ver el trabajo sobresaliente que se realiza en los salones de clases.
Mientras todos se preparan para comenzar sus vacaciones de invierno, quiero desearles unas felices fiestas. Diviértanse y cuídense.
También es muy importante que reconozcamos que es un tiempo sombrío para algunas personas en nuestro distrito, ya que conmemoramos el primer aniversario del Incendio Marshall. Muchas de nuestras familias fueron afectadas por esta tragedia y nuestros corazones continúan con ustedes. Si bien sabemos que la reconstrucción ha comenzado, sabemos que la sanación continúa para las comunidades afectadas. Continuamos a su lado.
La temporada de días festivos es un tiempo para reunirnos. En estas fiestas, disfrutemos de nuestra compañía.
