ENROLL ONLINE TODAY The enrollment process is conducted online at www.bvsd.org/Enrollment. Be sure to have Proof of ID, residency and immunization to complete the process.

Q: How old does a child need to be to enroll in kindergarten?

A: To be admitted to kindergarten in the Boulder Valley Schools, a child must reach his or her fifth birthday on or before September 30 of the school year they are enrolling into, or be admitted through early access.

Enroll your future kindergartener now While you can enroll anytime between now and the beginning of school, right now is the perfect time to enroll – because it helps our schools and district get a better idea of who will be joining our kindergarten classrooms in August – ensuring that we have the right amount of great teachers and resources at the beginning of the school year.

Reach out or visit schools We hope you will stop by or call your neighborhood BVSD school to say hello, arrange a tour and to let them know you plan to enroll your child for next school year. Our staff is here to help and answer your questions.
