Constructed in 1953 as Baseline Junior High, the Boulder school later transitioned to Baseline Middle School and then New Vista High School. Thousands of students have passed through its halls and made lasting memories, learning school subjects and life lessons along the way. After serving the students of BVSD for 71 years, the building will be demolished as a new building for New Vista High School is constructed.

Community members are invited to attend an open house at New Vista High School on Dec. 4, 4:30-6:30 p.m. to say farewell to the building before it is demolished in 2025. The event is an opportunity for anyone with ties to Baseline Jr. High, Baseline Middle School, or New Vista High School to visit the building one last time, relive memories and say good-bye. There will be no formal ceremony.

WHEN: December 4, 2024, 4:30- 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: Baseline Jr. High/New Vista High School, 700 20th Street, Boulder
